Our Program

ACE offers full-time childcare to children between the ages of 10 months to entrance into Grade 1. Care is offered in four different age groups, all with designated child to staff ratios. Our toddler room is currently dedicated to a slightly lower ratio than required at this time to facilitate the needs of this busy age group. 

• Infants: 10-11 months have a ratio of 3:1, 12-18 months have a ratio of 4:1
• Toddlers: 19 - 35 months (6:1 ratio) ACE registers 16 children with 3 educators
• Preschool: 3 - 4.5 year olds (8:1 ratio)
• ECS: 4.5 - 6 years olds (10:1 ratio)

Full-time care is offered at the rates set in our fee schedule, which is reviewed on a yearly basis by our Board of Directors.

Available to children who are in Room 3 or  4, ACE's Part-Time Sharing Agreement allows for one full-time spot, under certain terms and conditions, to be shared by two parties, in one of three ways:

• 2-day/3-day split
• 2.5-day/2.5-day split
• Half-day 5-day split

It is required that there are two families that wish to participate at the same time for part time spaces to be accessed. If you are interested in part time, please reach out to the executive director to find out if there are possible partnerships available.

Drop in care is offered for children starting once your child is in Room 3 or at least 3 years of age on a first come first serve basis, subject to availability.

Please contact us directly  to arrange for drop-in care. Temporary registration documents will be required completed before the child can be dropped off. 

Drop-In Fees:

Preschool (3-6 years): $60/day and $45.0/half day

The Child Care Subsidy Program helps lower-income Alberta families who need child care for their children but may not be able to pay the full cost. The program is part of the Day Care Programs and is operated by Alberta Children's Services.  It provides financial help to eligible families whose children attend licensed child care centres or approved family day homes.
